Pre- Operative Information
Our team knows a pet's pre-surgical, surgical, and post-surgical period is a stressful time for pet's and their families. It can be difficult to absorb and remember the information we provide during the days surrounding a pet's surgery. We feel it is vital to provide our clients with as much information as possible so they can make informed decisions to benefit their pet's care.
We strongly suggest that clients and their families;
- Review the information, we have provided below, prior to your pet's surgery.
- Make a List of Questions after you review the information. Bring the questions to your pet's pre-surgical appointment or call and speak to a team member by phone.
- We must be able to reach you while your pet is hospitalized for surgery and it is necessary for you to provide valid contact information and/or an alternate emergency contact that can make decisions about your pet's care.
Surgery Intake Appointment times are scheduled for every surgery patient. The surgery technician will review the procedure, authorization forms, obtain contact information, and other paperwork and address your questions.
Please give us a call if you are interested in scheduling your pet's surgery. A pre-surgical exam is required if your pet has not been seen in 6 months or more.
