Katherine, Head Receptionist and Veterinary Technician, enjoys the constant interaction she has with animals and their owners. Although completing vital administrative duties is an integral part of her day, she also enjoys working in the exam room and lab. In her free time, Katherine cooks, and spends time with her husband Joe, daughter Kassidy, family, and pets, which include two dogs and four cats.
Tiffany, Registered Veterinary Technician and Head Technician, handles a variety of responsibilities from delivering anesthesia to monitoring patients. Tiffany also heads up the back of the hospital, ensuring an efficient flow of technicians and assistants. While not working, Tiffany spends time with her husband Kurt, two children Bryce and Cameron, her dogs Lilly and Tessa, and cat Basil Templeton III, esq.
Dianna, Veterinary Assistant, appreciates learning about different breeds and species of animals that she treats. In her free time, Dianna cares for her own pets, one dog, Clementine, and three cats, Stevie Wonder, Free Range and Gypsy. She also teaches full-time, is pursuing a graduate degree in education administration, and volunteers at the National Zoo.
Kate, Veterinary Technician and Inventory Manager, recently returned to the veterinary medicine field after a few years in law enforcement. She enjoys the relationships, both personal and professional, that are cultivated through her position. In her free time, Kate runs her own canine behavior modification and training business, creates various art forms, and is currently persuing a private investigator license. She also spends time with her four cats, Daisy, 301, Forrest Gump, and Lily, and her yellow lab, Finnegan.
Stacy, Veterinary Technician and Lab Manager, enjoys assisting in patient care and surgical procedures, fulfilling her dream of working with the "four-legged creatures of the world". While away from the hospital, Stacy also takes pleasure in gardening and photography, in addition to working as a volunteer firefighter. She also values spending time with her husband, Steve, and their own pets- two cats, Butterfinger and Mittens, and three dogs, Leo, Maya and Bella.
Nicki, Receptionist, takes pride in helping the clients as they come in with their pets, and interacting with all the animals. She has pets of her own, which include a dog named Max, and her three cats, Fluff, Buca, and O'Malley. Fluff was our hospital cat, but Nicki kind-heartedly took her in and gave her a home. In her spare time, Nicki likes to spend time with her two children, play with her pets, go to the beach, and do photography.
Barbara, Kennel Technician, also enjoys playing, caring and working with the animals while they are boarding here. She has pets of her own, which include her two dogs Sophie and Star, her cat Emma, and she is fostering a dog named Pepper whom we are currently looking for a home for. Barbara also works part time as an office assistant at Anne Arundel Community College. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Mike, Kennel Technician and veterinary assistant, enjoys spending time playing with and caring for the boarding pets. He is from Mt. Wolf, PA and has a degree in wildlife conservation which he plans to pursue further. Mike has a dog named Anna, fish and a yellow lined plated lizard named Slick Willy. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, video games and hunting.
Lisa, Receptionist, appreciates interacting with clients and their pets as well as seeing the bonds formed between them. While not working, Lisa is hiking and playing racquetball with her husband Alex as well as spending time with their two sons Joey and Jimmy. Their family is complete with two cats, a dog, and an African Gray parrot.

Melanie, Veterinary Assistant, adores playing with the boarding pets, watching the dogs romp in the yard, and giving a helping hand wherever needed. Melanie is from Florida where she received a degree in psychology. In her spare time, she pursues a graduate degree in occupational therapy, volunteers at an assisted-living facility, and takes her dog Kahlua to various parks and beaches.
Toni, Veterinary Assistant, loves having the opportunity to work hands on with animals while learning about veterinary medicine. She stays busy at home as a wife to David and mother of four children. Also included in their happy family are four cats and three dogs. In her spare time, Toni enjoys taking her kids to the beach and walking with her dogs.
Melissa, Veterinary Technician, takes pride in enhancing the lives of animals and feels grateful to love what she does for a living. She has been in the industry for almost 14 years, mostly in the emergency setting. Her free time is spent playing on 8-ball and 9-ball leagues with her husband Clint and searching for the best cream of crab soup. Melissa has a lab puppy named Chase and three cats Woody, Cricket, and Nick.
Leigh Ann, Receptionist, is delighted to help clients and build close professional relationships with them and their pets. Sharing stories with our personable staff and seeing all the different animals grow up is a joyful experience for her. Leigh Ann values time spent walking, swimming, and playing fetch with her yellow lab Abbie as well as reading nonfiction and historical stories.
