 Dr. Nicole Deegan, VMD
Dr. Nicole Deegan is happy to return to Maryland after spending the last few years out of state. She grew up in southern Anne Arundel county and completed her undergraduate studies in biology at St. Mary's College of Maryland. She then went on to obtain her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Following veterinary school, Dr. Deegan pursued an additional year of training by completing a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Oradell Animal Hospital in Paramus, New Jersey.
Dr. Deegan enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, particularly internal medicine and infectious disease cases. She loves the fact that general practice provides a variety of cases all in a days work and is a constant source of challenges and rewards. In her spare time, Dr. Deegan enjoys reading, music, hiking, traveling, gardening and relaxing with family and friends. Of course, she also loves spending time with her own pets: Cello, a cocker spaniel; Lucy a pointer-mix, and Fiddle, a very spoiled tabby cat.
