Every year millions of pets are euthanized in shelters.  Most of us are aware of this horrible fact, but many people don't know that the number one reason for animal surrender in this country is behavioral problems.  The Doctors and Staff of  Hoffman Animal Hospital are committed to strengthening the human/animal bond, we offer a variety of behavioral counseling services to our clients.  Pets can suffer anxieties and phobias quite similar to the same ones found in humans.  A cat's unwillingness to urinate in the litterpan is not always just a simple housebreaking issue.  It can manifest for physiological (physical) and/or physchological (emotional) reasons.  Additions to the family such as a new pet or new baby, can cause a cat or a dog to exhibit strange, troublesome and at times, dangerous behaviors.  Please contact us for more information.
